Use the Q&A feature to post questions to others in your industry. A public question is one that can be responded to by anyone.


Clients or co-workers can post recommendations, which future employers and clients are able to view, allowing them to gauge skill levels and other personal and professional attributes.


You are also able to look up potential new hires or freelancers and perform background checks.


Keep track of your competition with network updates. Use the feed of recent activity to see who your connections have friended, groups they have joined, and the people they have recommended.


Whether you are a business searching for new employees, or if you are in the business world looking to get connected, LinkedIn marketing will most likely benefit you in one way or another.
